Extremely suitable for all diving applications, especially in poor visibility. Also excellent for day dives, for example in the Red Sea. The focus is very narrow for signalling under water. Also in the version LED 4500 Video available with 110 degree radiation and absolutely perfect illumination.

I purchased this light with the TT3 battery near the middle of 2010. I had a really bad experience with a different retailer. Ralf helped me sort out that mess, and when I ordered through Ralf I had my light within two weeks (the goodman handle was coming from Germany). I have found TT-USA extremely responsive and deserving of full marks in customer service.rnrnThe light arrived in perfect order. I went to Radio Shack and bought an adapter for North America outlets. Then I gave it a several-hour "bathtub test" and let the light run for a few hours. Not a single bubble came out - the three o-rings make a nice seal.rnrnI did a few dives with it in the Pacific Northwest (Puget Sound, Hood Canal) and my buddies were amazed.rnrnThen I took the light to Florida cave country for my course. When you enter a cave with this light you can light up the whole cave! When you are following someone and you shine the light on them from behind it makes an incredible silhouette of them against the opposite wall. My light output dwarfed other LEDs and HIDs alike. I can see this light will be with me for a long time.rnrnCave diving is tough on all gear, and despite trying to be careful the light head got knocked around just a bit. No problem - it is built solid. Having lots of reliable light in a cave is a Good Thing and I feel I can trust it. Perhaps I will make a rubber "sock" for it or something to protect it from scratches.rnrnI will be showing this light off to other dive buddies this fall and would recommend it to anyone.
